Who is responsible

What we collect and why
Browsing the site. Our host keeps short-lived server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, time) to run the site and protect it from abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
Analytics, only if you accept. When you click Accept in the banner, we load Mixpanel to understand which roles, filters and pages are useful. Mixpanel stores a random identifier in your browser's local storage and records events such as page views, filters used, roles opened and clicks on checkout buttons. We send this data to Mixpanel's EU data centre. Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer; we then stop tracking and delete the identifier from your browser. If you click Decline, Mixpanel is never loaded.
Weekly digest. If you subscribe, we keep your email address with our newsletter provider, [TODO: newsletter provider, e.g. Beehiiv or Substack], to send you the digest, and we see whether emails are opened or links clicked so we can improve it. Legal basis: your consent. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Paid access. Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your name, email address, country and what you bought; we never see your full card details. We use your email address to give you access to the full database ([TODO: how access is granted, e.g. sharing a Google Sheet with your email address]) and to contact you about your purchase. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you, and legal obligations for tax records.
Feedback form. If you answer the "What stopped you?" form, we store your answer through [TODO: form provider, e.g. Tally]. Answers are anonymous unless you choose to leave contact details.
Emails you send us. We keep the correspondence to answer you.
Who else processes your data

We don't sell your data and we don't share it with employers or recruiters. Employers never pay us and never receive information about who viewed their roles.
