Director of Product, Foundations

Lead Foundations platform organization enabling faster delivery across Booking.com's shared digital experience platform.

What you'll be doing

• Own 18-month platform strategy translating company direction into prioritized portfolio with build/buy/reuse decisions
• Lead multiple platform product groups defining outcomes around adoption, velocity, reliability and cost efficiency
• Drive migration from fragmented infrastructure toward shared, reusable platforms with clear deprecation discipline
• Partner with Engineering on multi-year architectural decisions for experience, content, UI and orchestration layers
• Develop senior PM leaders, design organization structure and manage team performance and hiring

Requirements

• 10+ years product leadership including several years managing multiple PM teams at Director scope
• Track record leading platform, infrastructure or design-system products at scale with internal customers
• Platform product thinking with PaaS model expertise: contracts, SLAs, adoption and leverage metrics
• Applied AI product proficiency and technical fluency for responsible AI governance and architecture
• Excellent stakeholder leadership and strategic thinking to influence senior leaders and cross-BU initiatives
• Strong English communication skills written and spoken
